An unusual case of hypercalcaemia

We present the case of a 19 year old female who presented to A&E with a three week history of nausea, vomiting and constipation. She was noted to have hypercalcaemia at 4.11 mmol/l. There was no family history of note and prior to this illness she had been fit and well with no regular medications. Investigations revealed a suppressed PTH of <0.6 pmol/L.
